Nachdem dies bei einigen Anwendern zu Beschwerden fhrte, wurde anschlieend die vorgestellte Laborstudie durchgefhrt. Unter kontrollierten Bedingungen wurde untersucht, welche physischen und psychischen Belastungen und Beanspruchungen mit dem ganztgigen AREinsatz verbunden sind. Das Buch stellt umfassend die theoretischen Hintergrnde, die Methodik sowie die Ergebnisse dieser Laborstudie dar. Es zeigt auf, dass die Arbeit mit dem ARSystem keinen Einfluss auf die psychische Beanspruchung und Konzentrationsleistung der Teilnehmer hatte. Allerdings wurden einige krperliche Beeintrchtigungen infolge von ergonomischen Defiziten berichtet. Eine physiologische Schdigung der Augen konnte jedoch ausgeschlossen werden. Implikationen dieser Ergebnisse fr den Einsatz des ARSystems im Vollschichtbetrieb werden aus arbeitspsychologischer Sicht errtert.
