Die Losgrenrechnung bezieht die Kapazittsauslastung ein und erfolgt mit dem Ziel der Minimierung der Durchlaufzeiten. Da in die Terminierung bereits mittlere Wartezeiten einbezogen werden, ist in der Ablaufplanung lediglich das Ziel der Termintreue zu beachten. Somit gelingt zum einen eine integrierte Betriebsauftragsplanung, zum anderen erfolgt eine wesentlich verbesserte Abstimmung zwischen Produktionsprogramm, Betriebsauftrags und Ablaufplanung.
