Obwohl sie mit ihrem Bruder fhlt und ihn stets gegen jede Art von Anfeindung verteidigt, trifft sie das sehr. Natrlich ist sie bei der Pflege Uwes einfach berfordert, der stndig betreut werden muss, damit er nichts anstellt. Unter diesen Voraussetzungen wchst Gabi auf. Aber auch ihr weiterer Werdegang legt ihr manchmal ganz schn dicke Brocken in den Weg, die es gilt, aus dem Weg zu rumen, so gut es eben mglich ist. Und sie meistert sie mit Bravour.
