Dabei gibt es berraschende methodische als auch thematische Parallelen bei aller Differenz. Der Schwerpunkt der Arbeit liegt auf den Gemeinsamkeiten. Diese werden anhand von Lsungsanstzen Wittgensteins und Heideggers zu Problemen in der Erkenntnistheorie und der Philosophie des Geistes konkret entwickelt. Neben Thomas Rentsch's Dissertation die einzige umfassende wissenschaftliche Arbeit, die systematische Parallelen zwischen Heidegger und Wittgenstein aufzeigt. Eingearbeitet sind auch neuere Beitrge zu Wittgensteins Philosophie der Psychologie.
