Meine Ausbildung ermglicht es mir, diese Erlebnisse an wirtschafts und sozialwissenschaftlichen Denkmodellen festzumachen. Diese Erfahrungen werden im Folgenden anhand von kleinen Texten zu den unterschiedlichsten Lebensbereichen wiedergegeben. Es handelt sich hierbei insbesondere um Erfahrungen und Empfindungen, die im Zusammenhang mit dem eigenen Handicap stehen. Diese Gedanken sollen einen Beitrag dazu leisten, blinden Menschen ein Leben in Wrde zu ermglichen. Eine physische Blindheit hat nmlich nichts mit einer Blindheit auf anderen Gebieten zu tun. Ein mangelndes Selbstwertgefhl; das Gefhl, auerhalb der Gesellschaft zu stehen, das manch betroffene Gruppe haben mag; das Gefhl, ungerecht behandelt zu werden, hat schon hufig zu kollektiven Verwerfungen gefhrt, die wir zum Wohle aller vermeiden sollten. Somit richtet sich dieses Buch sowohl an selbst betroffene Menschen, als auch an physisch nicht eingeschrnkte Personen. Vor diesem Hintergrund enthlt die vorliegende Niederschrift auch Forderungen an betroffene Menschen, genauso wie an nicht selbst betroffene Personen. Die Einseitigkeit, wie ber das Thema der physischen Blindheit und anderer Einschrnkungen gedacht und geredet wird, ist mir nur allzu gut bekannt. Diese Einseitigkeit betrifft wiederum beide Gruppen, die Betroffenen und diejenigen, die ber die Betroffenen denken und reden. Die Enge im Denken kann jedoch am ehesten von den physisch blinden oder anderweitig eingeschrnkten Menschen selbst beseitigt werden.
