Fr die Benennung chemischer Verbindungen hat die IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) Regeln geschaffen, die den Charakter von Standards haben und weitgehende internationale Verstndlichkeit garantieren. Formelbild und Name einer chemischen Verbindung mssen nmlich in einer eindeutigen Beziehung zueinander stehen. Whrend einer naturwissenschaftlichen Ausbildung werden im allgemeinen nur in geringem Umfang Kenntnisse ber die chemische Nomenklatur vermittelt, da von den in der Literatur vorhandenen zusammenfassenden Darstellungen nur sehr wenige in Deutsch abgefat sind. Es erschien deshalb notwendig, den im naturwissenschaftlichen Ausbildungsbereich Ttigen eine Gebrauchsanleitung in die Hand zu geben, dies um so mehr, als die Flle des zu behandelnden Stoffes in der Hochschul, Fachschul und Berufsausbildung nur wenig Gelegenheit bietet, in die Benutzung solcher Regeln einzuweisen. Grundlage fr diese Ausarbeitung sind die Verordnung zur Berufsausbildung von Chemielaboranten, der Rahmenlehrplan Chemielaborant und der Stoffplan der Fachschule, Fachrichtung Chemietechnik. Die vorliegende Zusammenfassung stellt eine ntzliche Ergnzung der deutschsprachigen Literatur dar.
