Product Description Im August 1950 entstand an der Oder nahe der Kleinstadt Frstenberg die erste Planstadt der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik unter sozialistischen Vorzeichen: Die Eisenhttenstadt. Mit der Vision dieser neuen Stadt setzte man zugleich ein politisches Zeichen im zerstrten Nachkriegsdeutschland. Dieses Buch untersucht, inwieweit sich die Vision des Neubeginns in Eisenhttenstadt verwirklicht hat. Ziel der Analyse ist die Beantwortung der Frage, was bei der Planung und dem Aufbau von Eisenhttenstadt gem der 16 Grundstze des Stdtebaus bercksichtigt und umgesetzt wurde und welche Grundstze vernachlssigt wurden und inwieweit letztlich Anspruch und Wirklichkeit dieser Vision bereinstimmen. Die Forschung liefert bisher keine ganzheitliche Betrachtung der 16 Grundstze anhand von Eisenhttenstadt, sondern setzt sich lediglich mit Teilaspekten auseinander. Die vorliegende Untersuchung soll diese Lcke schlieen. Dabei sttzt sie sich auf ein Interview mit der Architektin und Stadtplanerin Gabriele Haubold sowie grundlegende Forschungsarbeiten. About the Author Marco Schmidt wurde 1986 in Eisenhttenstadt geboren und studierte Deutsch und Geschichte auf Lehramt. Sein Studium an der ErnstMoritzArndt Universitt Greifswald schloss der Autor 2012 mit dem akademischen Grad des 1. Staatsexamens sehr gut ab. Bereits whrend des Studiums stand die DDRGeschichte im Fokus seiner Forschung. Der Bezug zu seiner Heimatstadt sowie die Arbeit im Dokumentationszentrum Alltagskultur der DDR und ein halbes Jahr intensivste Forschung veranlassten ihn dazu, sich der Thematik zu widmen und somit eine Forschungslcke zu schlieen.
