En el transcurso de los ltimos aos, el Estado Peruano ha ido gestionando procesos de evaluacin y estrategias de formacin para los docentes de Educacin Bsica Regular. A partir del ao 2007, se ha ido desarrollando el Programa Nacional de Capacitacin y Formacin Permanente (PRONAFCAP), dirigido a docentes de Educacin Bsica Regular y gestionado a travs de distintos Institutos Superiores Pedaggicos incluyendo universidades pblicas. A partir del ao 2008 se incluye a universidades privadas. Una de las instituciones privadas de educacin superior que ha brindado capacitaciones para el PRONAFCAP, es la Pontificia Universidad Catlica del Per (PUCP), a travs de su Centro de Investigaciones y Servicios Educativos (CISE). El presente trabajo intenta aportar al estudio y anlisis descriptivo de los procesos de planificacin y evaluacin educativa en el rubro de capacitacin o formacin docente de los programas nacionales actuales y la implementacin de dichos programas en universidades privadas. Asimismo, brindar mayor informacin al marco del desarrollo profesional docente y su trascendencia en el mbito de la formacin continua.
