I was really excited to read 'Elements of Computer Music', but it came with a few pages wrinkled and some sections are just too technical without enough explanation. I've been struggling to follow along, and I think there are better resources out there for newcomers. Disappointed!

Some useful info, but a bit dated
While 'Elements of Computer Music' has some solid foundational content, I found that some sections felt outdated. It’s still a good read if you’re new to the topic, but I was hoping for more current examples of software and techniques. Not bad overall, just not what I expected!

Great intro to computer music!
I bought this book, 'Elements of Computer Music', as a gift for my son who's getting into music production. The explanations are clear, and he loves how it breaks down complex concepts into bite-sized pieces. It's definitely helped him understand the basics of computer music better!
