As a longtime fantasy reader, I was thrilled to dive into Elfshadow. The world-building is fantastic, and I love the way the characters come alive on the page. This is a great first book that sets the stage for an exciting series. Can't wait to grab the next one!

Not what I expected, unfortunately
I had high hopes for Elfshadow, but I was disappointed. The plot felt predictable, and some character motivations didn’t make sense to me. Maybe it gets better in later books, but I’m not sure I’ll continue with the series after this one.

I enjoyed the story in Elfshadow, but I found the pacing a bit uneven. Some chapters dragged on too long for my taste. Still, the characters were engaging, and I’m curious to see where the next book takes them. Overall, it was a decent read.
