Das Referat wurde in Hinblick auf die eigentliche Problematik des Seminars ausgearbeitet. Hofstedes Kulturtheorie ist dahingehend analysiert worden, inwieweit sich mit den in seinem Buch Lokales Denken, globales Handeln. Interkulturelle Zusammenarbeit und globales Management. gezeigten Anstzen, die derzeitige Situation der russischen Sptaussiedler in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland beschreiben und erklren lsst. Die Verschriftlichung versucht ber die im Referat angesprochenen Themen hinaus aufzuzeigen, wie sich eine unangemessenere Sichtweise der Ereignisse, mangels strkerer Distanzierung vom Geschehen, wie sie zum groen Teil durch die in der Kulturanthropologie vorherrschenden Paradigmen, zu deren fhrenden Vertretern Geert Hofstede gezhlt werden kann, verbreitet wird, nachhaltig negativ auf die Integrationsbemhungen sowohl von Deutschen, als auch Sptaussiedlern auswirkt. Zunchst wird ein einfhrender, schwerpunktmiger berblick ber die gngige Kulturtheorie gegeben, wobei im Fokus der Betrachtung die Ausfhrungen Hofstedes stehen. Anschlieend werden die strksten Kritikpunkte an dieser Sichtweise angefhrt, um schlielich einen kurzen Abriss der figurationssoziologischen Theorie von EtabliertenAuenseiterBeziehungen nach Norbert Elias aufzuzeigen.
