Berichtet wird ber experimentelle und theoretische Untersuchungen ber die Anwendung schwach basischer Anionenaustauscher zur Entfernung von in Spuren vorkommenden Uranspezies in Wssern. In experimentellen Untersuchungen zur Gleichgewichtslage der Sorption wurden die Eigenschaften verschiedener handelsblicher Anionenaustauscherharze ermittelt. Die Sorption hngt hierbei in erheblicher Weise von der Zusammensetzung des Wassers ab. Insbesondere beeinflussen Sulfat und Calciumgehalte sowie der pHWert die Aufnahme der Uranspezies. Untersuchungen des Filterverhaltens ergaben sehr lange Laufzeiten der Ionenaustauscher. Bei Zulaufkonzentration von 1000 g/L konnte Uran mit einem Ionenaustauscher ber 30.000 Bettvolumen vollstndig entfernt werden. Bei realen Urankonzentrationen von 20 bis 50 g/L sind um ein vielfaches lngere Laufzeiten zu erwarten. Die Modellierung des Filterverhaltens fhrte mit experimentell ermittelten Gleichgewichts und kinetischen Parametern zu einer sehr guten Vorhersage des Durchbruchs.
