Wenn Eltern mit dem Kind einfhlsam umgehen und Grundbedrfnisse befriedigen knnen, fhlt es sich sicher und geborgen und die Wahrscheinlichkeit einer Vernachlssigung ist sehr gering. In meiner Hausarbeit habe ich aufgezeigt, dass eine (drohende) Vernachlssigung zu massiven Beeintrchtigungen und Schden der kindlichen Entwicklung fhren kann. In einer Gesellschaft mit hufig unbestndigen Familienverhltnissen und vielen Beziehungsabbrchen steigt die Gefahr einer emotionalen Vernachlssigung und die daraus resultierenden Folgeschden beim Kind. Deshalb bestehen Wege und Erfordernisse der Hilfe und Prvention fr Vter, Mtter und Kinder mit einem Vernachlssigungsrisiko. Ein Kind kommt nicht mit einer Traumatisierung zur Welt, sondern nur mit dem Risiko und der Mglichkeit, eine zu entwickeln. Familien mit vielfltigen Problemen, sogenannten Risikofaktoren, in diversen Lebensbereichen bentigen Hilfeleistungen zur besseren Wahrnehmung ihrer Erziehungsverantwortung. Letztlich liegen bei Vernachlssigungen und emotionalen Misshandlungen unterschiedlich ausgeprgte Konstellationen persnlicher biografischer Defizite der Eltern, aufgrund eigener Deprivation oder Gewalterfahrung, familire, sozial vererbte oder anderweitig gestrte Bindungsfhigkeit, sowie ungnstige soziale Faktoren wie Armut, Alkoholismus, berufliche und persnliche Hoffnungslosigkeit und soziale Isolation vor. Der individuellen Untersttzung in Vernachlssigungsfamilien kommt auf diese Weise eine groe Bedeutung zu. Die Kooperation unterschiedlicher Fachkrfte ist signifikant fr die Wirksamkeit der Hilfen.
