Maureen Mackenzie is a management professor at the Townsend School of Business at Dowling College. Before joining the faculty at Dowling College, Dr. Mackenzie worked in the private sector for over 20 years. She brings her realworld experience to her writing and into her classroom. She held the position of Regional Marketing Manager for Allstate Insurance Company's New York Regional Office. She earned her Ph.D. at Long Island University and her areas of study are information and management behavior. She earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Dowling College where she focused on Total Quality Management. She is the 1998 winner of the A.R. Zipf Fellowship in Information Management. Dr. Mackenzie s research interests include contemporary HR issues, organizational behavior, and manager behavior. Dr. Mackenzie sits on the Board of Directors for the Northeast Business and Economics Association, and has served as vice president and program chair. Dr. Mackenzie is an active member of the American Society for Information Science and Technology and The Society of Human Resource Management. She has earned the HRCI certification as a PHR. Stuart L. Rosenberg, Ph.D. Stuart Rosenberg is a management professor at the Townsend School of Business at Dowling College, Oakdale, N.Y. Before coming to academia, Dr. Rosenberg was a strategic planner at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company and a Vice President in Financial Planning at First Chicago Corporation.
