Dabei werden auch die Unschrfen und Inkonsistenzen deutlich zum Vorschein treten und es soll die Frage geklrt werden, inwieweit der theoretisch beschrieben Kult auch wirklich als eine skulare Religion beschrieben werden kann. Anschlieend wird die Beziehungdes Staates zum Kult nher dargestellt, wir werden dabei sehen, dass der Staat im Rahmen der theoretischen Konzeption eine weit wichtigere Rolle spielt als das hufig zugestanden wird. Mit dieser Verbindung der Konzepte der Religion und des Staates werden zwei Bereiche der Durkheimschen Soziologie in Beziehung gesetzt, die uerst fruchtbar aufeinander einwirken knnen. Erst durch die Betrachtung dieser beiden Teilgebiete lsst sich die Beziehung des Individuums zum Kollektiv erklren. Abschlieend soll auch ein Blick ber den theoretischen Tellerrand auf die empirische Ebene geworfen werden und somit der sozialwissenschaftlich intensiv diskutierte Themenbereich der Menschenrechte angeschnitten werden. In diesem Rahmen ist es nicht mglich dieses Thema erschpfend zu behandeln. Es wird aber deutlich, dass die historische Entwicklung Durkheim an vielen Stellen Recht gibt. Die Verschrnkung von Staat und Individuum kann heute oftmals deutlich nachgezeichnet werden und ist in einer globalisierten Welt vor dem Hintergrund eines immer exzessiveren Individualismus, aber auch staatlich wie religisem Autoritarismus und Fundamentalismus uerst wichtig.
