I bought "Sirenomelia" after seeing some good reviews, but I found it a bit slow in parts. The concept is fascinating, but the pacing didn’t quite work for me. Still, the imagery was lovely and definitely worth a read for fans of magical realism.

Disappointing Ending
I really wanted to love "Sirenomelia" but I felt the ending fell flat. The beginning was intriguing, but then it just kind of fizzled out. I expected more depth, honestly. It looked pretty on my shelf, though!
