Product Description In der Psycholinguistik wird Merkmalen eines Textrezipienten wie Vorwissen, Motivation und Einstellung immer wieder hohe Bedeutsamkeit zugesprochen. In diesem Buch werden Stimmungen des Lesers in ihrem Einflu auf die Rezeption affektiv getnter Texte untersucht. Die Hypothesen fr die Informationsverarbeitung sind in Anlehnung an den Stimmungskongruenzeffekt von Bower formuliert worden und konnten in Lesezeitexperimenten berprft werden. Eine systematische Betrachtung der relativ heterogenen Befundlage in der Literatur in bezug zu den eigenen Ergebnissen lt schlielich eine modifizierte Formulierung des Effektes fr die mentale Modellierung des Beschriebenen unter positiver und depressiver Stimmung zu. Stimmungskongruenz zeigt sich in entsprechenden Aufgaben sowohl als schnelleres Verstehen wie auch als elaboriertere Verarbeitung kongruenten Materials.
