Product DescriptionEsta serie de libros de texto tiene su origen en la meticulosidad con que el profesor Antonio lvarez Prez tena ordenadas las materias y conocimientos del plan de estudios de Enseanza Primaria vigente en la poca (Ley de Enseanza Primaria de 1945), y que se termin convirtiendo para l en un hobby. Sus compaeros de trabajo, conocedores de su eficiencia y rigor, le solicitaban diferentes tipos de informacin y le animaron a que convirtiera su trabajo en una obra editada, al estilo de otras enciclopedias que circulaban en esa y anteriores pocas. En 1951 ya tena elaborada el primer volumen, destinado a nios y nias de entre 6 y 8 aos de edad, que pas las diferentes censuras que haba entonces en Espaa (la poltica y la eclesistica) y al ao siguiente consigue editarla en Zamora en la editorial 'ELMA', propiedad de Eduardo Lpez. Tras su buena acogida, la public tambin la editorial vallisoletana Min. Se fueron ampliando los diferentes libros, tres versiones de 'Mi cartilla', 'El parvulito', los libros correspondientes al 'Primer grado', 'Segundo grado' y 'Tercer grado' y la enciclopedia de 'iniciacin Profesional', adems de cuadernos de ejercicios y libros para uso del profesor. La enciclopedia lvarez lleg a copar el 80%% del mercado de texto del momento, estimndose que se llegaran a vender 22 millones de ejemplares en Espaa y entre 33 o 34 millones si se aaden el resto de material, cuadernos, libros para los profesores etc.From the PublisherOriginal Spanish textbook for children at the beginning of the century.
