I was looking for a light read in both English and Spanish, but this book is more academic. It has some beautiful poems, but I didn't quite enjoy the essays. The binding is nice though! Just not my cup of tea.

A Great Bilingual Resource
I bought the English and Spanish edition of 'Ensayos y Poemas' for my bilingual book club. The translations are quite accurate, and the layout makes it easy to compare the two languages side by side. I appreciate having such a rich literary resource!

Expected More Variety
While some essays are insightful, I was hoping for a broader range of topics in this edition. The bilingual feature is nice, but the content feels a bit repetitive at times. Just an okay read for me.
