El presente libro es el resultado de una investigacin financiada por el Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologa de Mxico (Conacyt), en el marco de la Convocatoria FOMIXVeracruz 200511934, que surgi como una necesidad de buscar alternativas para la obtencin de protena de buena calidad para uso acucola, a partir de la utilizacion de Fauna de Acompaamiento de la pesqueria comercial del Camarn (FAC). En este documento, se indica de manera prctica y sencilla como producir un ensilado biolgico de alta calidad, mediante una fermentacion lctica y obtener un producto seco. As mismo, se muestran los resultados de los bioensayos en los que se sustituy en diferentes concentraciones de harina del ensilado biolgico por harina de pescado, en dietas para especies de inters acucola comercial. Por lo que esperamos que este documento sea de utilidad para los interesados en la nutricin y alimentacin de especies acucolas en un marco de sustentabilidad y cuidado ambiental.
