Product DescriptionDiese Arbeit befasst sich mit den Formen und Funktionen von Sprachmischungen zwischen dem Englischen und dem Deutschen der Gegenwart. Als Datengrundlage dient ein synchrones Pressekorpus aus 52 Ausgaben des NachrichtenmagazinsDer Spiegel, das seit den 1960ern immer wieder zu Untersuchungen zum deutschenglischen Kontakt herangezogen worden ist. Zentrale These ist dabei, dass den journalistischen Sprachgebrauch neben etablierten lexikalischen Entlehnungen (Anglizismen) heute verstrkt auch Ad hocWechsel zwischen beiden Sprachen (Codeswitches) prgen. Die Studie entwirft daher ein integratives kontaktlinguistisches Modell, das die Komplexitt beider Erscheinungen der Sprachmischung aufzeigt und verdeutlicht, wie diese morphosyntaktisch integriert sowie wortbildend eingesetzt werden.
