Die Arbeit stellt einen Beitrag zur Theorie entscheidungsuntersttzender Systeme fr Gruppen (Group Decision Support Systems GDSS) dar. Sie erweitert das in der Literatur bisher benutzte hierarchische Konzept der Trennung zwischen Individual und Gruppenebene um die explizite Modellierung von Rckwirkungen von (vorlufigen) Ergebnissen der Gruppenebene auf individuellen Bewertungen. Ausgangspunkt ist ein umfassender Literaturberblick, der ein breites Spektrum an Anstzen zur Untersttzung von Gruppenentscheidungen vorstellt und klassifiziert. Darauf aufbauend wird das eigene Konzept rckkopplungsorientierter GDSS zunchst in allgemeiner Form entwickelt und anschlieend fr unterschiedliche Entscheidungsverfahren ausformuliert. Abschlieend wird ein konkret implementiertes experimentelles GDSS vorgestellt. Die Arbeit deckt somit das gesamte Spektrum von der Entwicklung allgemeiner theoretischer Grundlagen der Untersttzung von Gruppenentscheidungen bis zur konkreten Systementwicklung ab. Das Buch wurde in sterreich vom KardinalInnitzerStudienfonds mit einem Frderungspreis ausgezeichnet.
