Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Filmwissenschaft, Note: 1, Universitt Wien (Theater, Film und Medienwissenschaft), 21 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die folgende Arbeit soll sich mit dem Film Geschichtsunterricht" und seinen unterschiedlichen Komponenten beschftigen. Nach einer kurzen Einfhrung in den Entstehungskontext des Films der 70er Jahre (Abschnitt 2) wird zunchst auf das Leben und das Werk der Autoren JeanMarie Straub und Danile Huillet eingegangen (Abschnitt 3). Abschnitt 4 befasst sich mit der Romanvorlage fr den Film, Die Geschfte des Herrn Julius Csar" von Bertolt Brecht (Kapitel 4.1) und dessen filmische Aufbereitung (Kapitel 4.2). Der darauf folgende Abschnitt 5 ist der Analyse des Films gewidmet, es wird auf die Personen und Darsteller (Kapitel 5.1), den Inhalt (Kapitel 5.2), die Stilmittel (Kapitel 5.3) und die Kritikerstimmen (Kapitel 5.4) eingegangen. Der letzte Abschnitt (Abschnitt 6) beschftigt sich abschlieend mit der hinter dem Film Geschichtsunterricht" stehenden Frage nach dem Verhltnis zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart im Allgemeinen (Kapitel 6.1) und in der speziellen Umsetzung Straub/Huillets (Kapitel 6.2). Ziel ist es, Geschichtsunterricht" in seinem Entstehungskontext hinsichtlich seiner literarischen Grundlage, seiner filmischen Umsetzung und seiner Aufarbeitung der Geschichtsproblematik zu untersuchen.
