It was found that besides the quarry area, vast expansions of other adjacent area have been deforested. Besides the mining areas, reserved and other forests allover have also suffered large scale depletion. This has also cause depletion of wild life and water shade areas. Mining activities defaced the local topography through excavation dumping provision of required infrastructural facilities like machinery installation, transportation and waste disposal. All these activities lead to physical and ecological encroachment of agricultural land. There by leading to the decrease in their availability.
