Product DescriptionIn der Literaturanalyse geht es um die kritische Sicht, die Migranten von Europa gewinnen und wie sie sich auf die erfahrenen Verhltnisse einstellen. Untersucht wird dies am Diskurs karibischer Autoren, die Aufenthalte in London oder Paris darstellen. So ernchternd die geschilderten Erfahrungen auch sind der Befund berrascht insofern, als in ihren Romanen und autobiographischen Erzhlungen kritischer Widerstand gegen die abweisenden Verhltnisse mit dem Konzept der Kreolisierung vereinbart wird. Kennzeichnend fr den karibischen Weg ist die berschneidung unterschiedlicher Kulturen, aus deren Vermischung neue Varianten entstehen. Vertreten wird die These, dass die karibische Expertise in flexibler Adaption zu Zeiten einer asymmetrisch konzipierten Globalisierung als richtungsweisend anzusehen ist.
