Sie stellen seinen Beitrag zur Konservativen Revolution dar. Er widmet sich der Errterung mehrerer schlagwortartiger Konstrukte, die seiner Meinung nach fr die Entwicklung eines bestimmten neuen Menschentyps kennzeichnend sind. Besonders hufig greift er Begriffe wie Blut', Frontsoldatentum', Nationalismus', Rasse' oder Technik' auf und konstruiert, aufbauend auf Nietzsche und Sorel, eine neue, streckenweise noch schrfere Form des sog. heroischen Nihilismus. Es sind im Besonderen Jngers persnlicher Erfolg' whrend des Ersten Weltkrieges, Nationalismus, Heimatgefhle, Patriotismus, religise Gefhle', das Preuentum' als Konstrukt ideengeschichtlicher berlegungen, der Nietzscheanismus', das Gemeinschaftserlebnis', das Empfinden und Leben des Krieges als Abenteuer', eine gewisse, in ihrer Intensitt unbersehbare Jagd, Sport und Duellmetaphorik' sowie der besondere Realismus', mit dem er es vermag, seine Erlebnisse an der Front zu schildern, stets mit dem Ziel, eine politische Botschaft verkleidet in einen eigentmlichen sthetizismus. Ziel der Arbeit soll sein, die politische Kurzpublizistik Jngers zwischen 1919 und 1933 anhand ausgewhlter Beispiele auf drei Kernelemente seiner Schriften zu berprfen und eventuelle Unterschiede herauszuarbeiten. Es sind dies seine berlegungen zum sich durch den Ersten Weltkrieg im Entstehen befindenden neuen Typ eines Soldaten, dem Frontsoldaten, sein Konzept eines Neuen Menschchen, das mageblich Elemente des Frontsoldaten verarbeitet, sowie seine Interpretation des auf den Geschehnissen des August 1914 aufbauenden neuen Nationalismus.
