Dabei soll in erster Linie der Text selbst im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung stehen, die weitere Forschungsliteratur wird nur ergnzend bzw. erluternd benutzt werden. Zwei Hauptpunkte rcken bei dieser Art der Untersuchung in das Blickfeld des Betrachters: zum einen das Erzhlen aus der Differenz" , zum anderen die sprachliche Verarbeitung des erlebten Schreckens. Antelmes Geschichte konstituiert sich aus unterschiedlichen 'Sprachen', d. h. es werden divergierende Codes gegeneinander gesetzt, die die Gruppen des KZ Buchenwald als ihre eigenen benutzen. Somit macht der Verfasser das sagbar, was oftmals als unsagbar betrachtet wird. Auf die Problematik der sagbaren Unsagbarkeit" , der Vermittlung des erlebten Terrors, und die damit verbundene Debatte um die Historizitt des Nationalsozialismus sowie seiner Schrecken wird nicht explizit eingegangen werden; jedoch kann einiges davon in dieser Arbeit implizit erlutert werden.
