Lawrence Collins, a leading international lawyer, has made a profound contribution to the study and understanding of the Conflict of Laws in England during the past twenty years. He has successfully combined his practice in one of Londons leading law firms with unparalleled academic achievement. This volume combines a number of his most widely acclaimed and influential articles on important aspects of the Conflict of Laws, including a reprint of his fascinating 1992 Hague Academy Lectures entitled Provisional and Protective Measures in International Litigation. Collins has updated and written introductory prefaces for each article to outline the most important subsequent developments since their original publication. Scholarly and incisive, these essays will be compulsory reading for all academics and practitioners interested in international litigation.

As a law student, I found 'Essays in International Litigation and the Conflict of Laws' extremely insightful. The essays really tackle complex issues in a clear way. It's a great resource for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of international law.

Great Content, Poor Binding
While the essays in this book are top-notch, the binding quality is disappointing. My copy arrived with a loose spine, which makes it feel like it won't last long. I just wish the publisher put more effort into the physical product.

Interesting, but a bit dense
The book covers a lot of important topics, but I sometimes found the writing a bit heavy. It’s definitely worth reading, just be prepared to take your time with it. Ideal for those with a solid background in law.

Perfect for Legal Researchers
I bought this for my research on international disputes, and it's been invaluable. The perspectives provided in the essays are both diverse and relevant. Highly useful for anyone involved in international law or litigation.
