Unfortunately, the Essential Elements Book 2 arrived with a few pages crinkled and the online media didn’t work as advertised. I expected better packaging and functionality. It’s a shame because the lessons seem useful, but this experience has been frustrating.

Good but a bit tricky for beginners
I bought this book for my son who's just starting out on the electric bass. While it has great content and the online media is helpful, some of the lessons can be a bit confusing. He enjoys the music, but I think we might have to look for supplemental resources to help him through some parts.

Great resource for bass players!
I've been using the Essential Elements Book 2 for my bass lessons and it's really solid. The online media included makes practicing way easier, especially with the audio tracks. My instructor appreciates the structured lessons, and I feel like I'm making progress. Totally worth it!
