Besides Poetry, Desnos Wrote On A Wide Range Of Subjects From Film Texts And Criticism To Novels. During Wwii He Became A Poet Of The Resistance, But Was Arrested By The Gestapo And Sent To Several Notorious Concentration Camps For The Duration Of The War. He Died As A Result Of His Internment.
