Being a student of M.Phil i researched in the field of statistics. This book is on the topic of Sampling. In Survey sampling problem of nonresponse is very common and lot of work has been done to Estimate mean under non response. But situations occur when we face the problem of nonresponse and auxiliary variable is in the form of attribute,there was no research work in this situation. so in this book we proposed some estimators to estimate the population mean under nonresponse when auxiliary variable is in the form of attribute. And it is found that proposed estimators performed very well when applied to numerical data sets.
