En el presente estudio se aborda la percepcin del trabajo y las reas de la vida laboral, todo enmarcado en una perspectiva cualitativointerpretativa de psicologa social de la salud. Teniendo en cuenta que la misin de la educacin superior de nuestros futuros profesionales de la salud se encuentra en manos del docente universitario, es necesario preguntarse por los elementos de orden psicolgico que estn relacionados con los efectos de condiciones y factores que se encuentran en relacin con el trabajo del enfermero que realiza docencia asistencial (a veces llamado docente de prcticas) para entender las implicaciones que pueda esto tener sobre los estudiantes. Este trabajo debe orientar el direccionamiento de polticas laboraleseducativas para el mejoramiento de las condiciones laborales de las personas que conducen la formacin profesional de enfermeros, as como constituirse en un documento gua para otras facultades de salud. Finalmente, agradezco a los docentes de la Fundacin Universitaria del rea Andina y de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, por su colaboracin para realizar este trabajo.
