La cubeta de sobreexcavacin glaciar de Andorra la Vella EscaldesEngordany se encuentra ubicada en el valle del ro Gran Valira, a lo largo de las poblaciones de EscaldesEngordany, Andorra la Vella, Santa Coloma y la Margineda, en las parroquias de Andorra la Vella y Escaldes Engordany en el Principat dAndorra. La cubeta est formada principalmente de dos acuferos de tipo multicapa, los cuales estn relacionados hdricamente con el macizo rocoso que le rodea, ampliando as la zona de estudio a las cuencas hidrogrficas adjuntas a la cubeta. El objetivo principal de este trabajo ha sido aportar nuevos datos sobre las principales caractersticas de este sistema hdrico (hidroqumica, piezometra, parmetros hidrodinmicos, etc...) de toda la cubeta y as ampliar el conocimiento existente sobre la misma. Informacin que es interesante desde el punto de vista de los recursos hdricos presentes y futuros y de su gestin.
