This study is based on qualitative and ethnographic method to explore perception of causes, signs and symptoms, and transmission, prevention and management practices at household, community and health institution level in Tharu Community of Nepal. Data collection techniques included indepth interview, key informant interview, focus group discussion and observation. Data management was done by transcription, coding and manual analysis. Tharu community is the indigenous ethnic group.The community located in EastWest corridor of Southern Nepal. The community has diverse language and customs based on their locations.
