La composition de lhuile essentielle des feuilles du Thuya de Berbrie (Tetraclinis articulata) de la rgion de Ghazaouet (Tlemcen), extraite par hydrodistillation (rendement : 0 ,33%) et entrainement la vapeur deau (0.34%), est dtermine par CPG SM. Trente trois composs constituant 98% de lhuile essentielle ont t identifis, les composs majoritaires sont lactate de bornyl 52 %, le caryophyllene 7.51%, le germacrne D 5.6% et loxyde de caryophyllene 5.01%. Nous avons galement dtermin lactivit de lhuile essentielle de cette espce visvis des bactries (Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25 923, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Escherichia coli ATCC 25 922 & ATCC 25 921, Bacillus cereus) et des moisissures (Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium spp, Penicillium spp). Lactivit antimicrobienne a t value par trois mthodes : laromatogramme, la microatmosphre et la technique de contact direct. Lhuile essentielle de Tetraclinis articulata prsente une activit modre sur lensemble des souches testes, sauf Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853 et Escherichia coli ATCC25 921 qui se rvlent trs rsistantes.
