Durch seinen schweren Stand in der ffentlichkeit und eine meist fehlende objektive Rezeption, wird das Thema Wrestling' allerdings von wissenschaftlicher Seite ebenfalls oft belchelt und nicht ernst genommen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit befasse ich mich mit der Fangruppe des EuroWrestling'. Da zu diesem Thema noch keine wissenschaftliche Forschung durchgefhrt wurde, habe ich alle Daten durch quantitative Umfragen, qualitative Fragebgen und persnliche Gesprche mit Personen der passenden Zielgruppe erhoben. Ich werde erklren, was EuroWrestling' berhaupt ist und ob bzw. wie es sich von dem bekannteren amerikanischen ProWrestling unterscheidet. Auerdem werde ich eine Analyse der EuroWrestlingFans' vornehmen und untersuchen ob diese Gemeinschaft eher der Kategorie der Szene oder der (Jugend)Subkultur zugeordnet werden kann. Im Zentrum dieser Arbeit steht schlielich eine detaillierte, systematische Kartografie der Jugendkultur der EuroWrestlingFans. Bevor aber eine differenzierte Betrachtung der EuroWrestlingFans und eine damit einhergehende Kategorisierung der Gemeinschaft stattfinden kann, muss erst einmal festgelegt werden, was hier unter den Begriffen Subkultur' und Szene' verstanden wird.
