The studies were conducted to see the effectiveness of some new chemistry insecticides for controlling whitefly jassid and american and spotted bollworms on cotton variety NIAB777, having twelve treatments for each sucking viz., Thiosulphon 35 EC, Black Warrant, Pyramid 10 SL, Steer Plus, Folettilla 75 EC, Comrade 25 WG, Asset 70 WDG, Tender 10 EC, Buster 70 SP, Sharp 20 SL, Smart 33 WDG and bollworms viz., Rubin 25 EC, Pronet 1.8 EC, Demand 2.5 EC, Smart 33 WG, Tender 10 EC, Sozo 40 EC, Prado 25 WP, Leopard 2.5 EC, Boxer 2.5 EC, Lorsban 40 EC, Alan Plus 3.5 EC, was sprayed in order to evaluate the efficacy of these insecticides including a control for both. Pest population was recorded 24 hours before and 24, 48, 72 hours and 7 days after insecticides application. On the basis of mean population of whitefly, jassid, American and spotted bollworms from each treated plot, the efficacy of insecticides was compared. During the applications, minimum and maximum populations were recorded. The data was subjected to standard technique of statistical analysis by using LSD test.
