Tuberculosis still is a health problem worldwide which cause morbidity and mortality. Proper diagnosis and good management will play a big role in reducing the severity of disease. Tuberculosis can be treated, though the treatment is too long but following DOTs system will help a lot to reduce the disease as well as health education to the patients including the important of taking medication at a recommended interval and proper follow up.Therefore patients should be observed when taking their medication especially for the first two months and sputum should be taken for examination so as to know the status of patients at the end. We also need to find way to increase the detection rate and good strong defaulter mechanism for those patients who missed the treatment.
