Theologie Institut fr Altes Testament und Biblische Archologie), Veranstaltung: Proseminar: Einfhrung in die alttestamentliche Exegese, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht die Perikope von Hiskias Krankheit und Genesung nach den bewhrten Methodenschritten der biblischen Exegese, geht dabei jedoch einen Schritt weiter: Nach einer ausfhrlichen Sprach und Strukturananlyse der Perikope werden zunchst exemplarische Kommentare zusammengefasst und ihrerseits in ihrer Gebundenheit an den eigenen historischen Kontext und die eigenen Prmissen, also 'historischkritisch' unter die Lupe genommen. Diese Untersuchung kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass Exegese nie unabhngig von ihren Prmissen sein kann. Von dieser Einsicht ausgehend wird die Perikope literar, form und redaktionskritisch unter zwei verschiedenen Prmissen exegesiert, nmlich unter der des 'wissenschaftlichen Zweifels' und unter der eines grundstzlichen Vertrauens zur auch historischen Zuverlssigkeit des Textes. Dabei erweist sich, dass sich unter beiden Prmissen sinnvolle Ergebnisse erzielen lassen, mithin die Frage nach der Geschichtlichkeit der beschriebenen Ereignisse sich nicht mit Hilfe der bewhrten Methodenschritte beantworten lsst, diese jedoch hilfreiche Einzelergebnisse erbringen. Eine Einzelexegese und ein kurzer Ausblick auf die Praxis schlieen die Arbeit ab.
