Fr die Exegese johanneischer Texte ist grundlegend zu beachten, dass der Evangelist die synoptische Tradition als bekannt voraussetzt. Im Unterschied zu den synoptischen Evangelien handelt es sich bei Johannes in erster Linie nicht um erzhlende Texte, sondern um darauf basierende theologische Reflexion. So ist bei johanneischen Texten stets mit mehrschichtigen Bedeutungsebenen zu rechnen. Es sind besonders die, die ber sich hinausweisen und auf die Offenbarung des Wesens Jesu Christi zielen; sie haben somit eine stark christologische Relevanz. So geht es beim vorliegenden Weinwunder Jesu zwar auf den ersten Blick um die wundersame Verkstigung einer Hochzeitsgesellschaft, auf einer tieferen Ebene allerdings um die programmatische Erffnung des Wirkens Gottes in Jesus zum Heil der Menschen. Der Hochzeit zu Kana' als dem Schauplatz des ersten von insgesamt sieben Wundern kommt im Ganzen des Joh.Evangeliums offensichtlich eine besonders betonte und exponierte Stellung zu. Zu untersuchen ist, wie es sich in den nahen wie auch weiteren Kontext des Evangeliums einfgt. Die Untersuchung der Begriffe Hochzeit' und Wein' wird zeigen, dass Jesus mit diesem Zeichen den Anbruch der eschatologischmessianischen Heilszeit in seiner Person proklamiert: Das 4. Evangelium zeigt die Person Jesu Christi mit einer ausstrahlenden Offenbarungskraft wie in keinem der anderen Evangelien' (Wilckens, U.: Theologie des NT, Bd. I/4, 2005, 153.). Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wird es aufgrund der Bezeichnung des Weinwunders zu Kana' als erstem der Zeichen von Nten sein, auf die Problematik der sogenannten Semeia'Quelle einzugehen.
