I had high hopes for this book after loving the first one, but I was a bit disappointed. There were some plot twists that felt forced and the ending left me wanting more resolution. I’ll still read the final book, but this one didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

The Dark Elf Trilogy really picks up in this second book! I loved how richly detailed the world is, and the character development is just phenomenal. I found myself totally immersed in the story and couldn't put it down. Can't wait for the next one!

Great Read but Slower Pace
I enjoyed parts of this book, especially the lore around the drow, but it felt a bit slow in some chapters compared to the first. The writing is still solid, and I appreciate the depth of the characters, but I wanted the pace to pick up more. It’s a solid read for any fantasy fan though!
