Magisterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Ethnologie / Volkskunde, Note: 1,7, Universitt Hamburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, am Beispiel der Tangoszene in Hamburg aufzudecken, ob und wie sich im Tango Argentino Exotik wiederfindet. Folgende Aspekte werden dabei untersucht: 1. Wie lsst sich Exotik definieren, und um welche Eigenschaften und Faktoren handelt es sich, die ein Objekt zum Exotikum machen? 2. Welche Faktoren sind an einem Exotisierungsprozess im Falle des Tango Argentino beteiligt? 3. Welche Exotik stiftenden Elemente finden sich im Tango Argentino wieder? Um zu klren, wie sich Exotik definierten lsst, wird ein Eigenschaftenkatalog entwickelt, der verdeutlichen soll, welche Exotik stiftenden Elemente notwendig sind, damit ein Objekt zum Exotikum wird. Anschlieend wird am Beispiel der Tangokultur in Hamburg untersucht, wo sich im Tango Argentino Exotik wiederfindet. Zudem wird betrachtet, welches Erscheinungsbild die Kultur vermittelt, die sich rund um den Tango Argentino entwickelt hat. Diese dort entstandene Kultur und die ihr zugrunde liegenden Vorstellungen sind das Ergebnis verschiedener Faktoren. Daher soll geklrt werden, wer alles an der Konstruktion des vorherrschenden Tangobildes beteiligt ist und wie sich dieses darstellt. Zur Beantwortung dieser Fragen wurde von mir von Dezember 2003 bis Juni 2004 eine Feldforschung in der Hamburger Tangoszene durchgefhrt, deren Ergebnisse in dieser Arbeit prsentiert werden.
