I was looking forward to this book, but it arrived with a few pages that were dog-eared, which was frustrating. The content didn’t quite meet my expectations either, as I found it less engaging than I hoped. Maybe I just expected too much?

Fascinating Insights on History
I picked up 'Explorers, Traders, and Slavers' for my history class, and it's been an enlightening read! The detailed accounts of the Old Spanish Trail are captivating. The author really brings the era to life with rich descriptions and engaging narratives.

Good Read, But Some Sections Dragged
I enjoyed parts of this book about the Old Spanish Trail, especially the sections on traders and explorers. However, some chapters felt a bit slow and could've used more action. Still, it adds a lot to understanding that period of American history.
