Dies deutet bereits an, dass im Rahmen der hier durchgefhrten theoretischen und empirischen Analysen versucht wur de herauszuarbeiten, welche Faktoren die exzellenten von den weniger erfolgreichen Anbietern unterscheiden. Dabei wurde bewusst eine Trennung zwischen Dienstleistung und Vertrieb vorgenommen. Fr jedes wirtschaftlich agierende Unternehmen ist der Vertrieb erfolgsrelevant und somit sind exzellente Vorbilder in der gesamten Wirtschaft und nicht etwa nur im tertiren Sektor zu suchen. Ziel des Buchs ist es, in ausgewhlten Bereichen der Wirtschaft und dabei insbesonde re im tertiren Sektor relevante Erfolgsfaktoren zu entdecken und daraus Handlungs empfehlungen abzuleiten. Inhaltlich gliedert sich das Buch in drei Teile: Im ersten Teil wird das allen Beitrgen zugrunde liegende Verstndnis des Analyseobjekts, das Dienstleistungsnetzwerk, erlu tert und diesbezglich eine Typologie vorgestellt. Der auf der Typologisierung basieren de 'Service Cube' stellt Dienstleistungsnetzwerke in einem dreidimensionalen Raum dar. Es lassen sich anhand von ,,Bewertungsvorschriften' alle existierenden Dienstleister einordnen. Somit kann in die Dienstleistungsbranche die fr weitere wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen gebotene Ordnung gebracht werden.
