I thought the book would be more about practical exercises, but it’s more theoretical. Some concepts were interesting, but I wanted more hands-on activities. It’s a decent read if you like the theory part.

A Great Resource for Creatives
Ezra Petronio's book on visual thinking is a must-have for anyone in the creative field. The way he breaks down image-making techniques really made me rethink my process. I found it both inspiring and practical for my projects.

Informative but Not for Everyone
I appreciate some of the insights in this book, but I found it a bit dense at times. As a beginner, I expected more straightforward guidance on visual thinking. Still, there are valuable concepts if you sift through it.

A Step Up for Visual Artists
I bought this for my graphic design class, and it's been a game-changer for some of my classmates. The visual thinking strategies are really helping us develop our portfolios. Definitely worth it!

Too Advanced for My Taste
While I can see this book has valuable content, I found it quite advanced for where I’m at in my learning journey. It might work better for more experienced artists than for someone just starting out.
