Kinderbibeln werden verstanden als Modellfall fabelnden Denkens, eines Denkens mit und durch Erzahlungen und Geschichten, wie es auch fur die biblischen Texte vielfach kennzeichnend ist. Vor dem Hintergrund eines solchen Verstandnisses von Kinderbibeln als Musterbeispiel einer didaktischen Transformation theologischer Inhalte widmet sich der Autor den grundsatzlichen hermeneutischen und theologischen Fragen, die die Erstellung von Kinderbibeln aufwirft.
