Near Finevery. See scans and description. New York: Harry N. Abrams, Inc.,1982. First Edition, Fourth Printing. Elephant Folio, illustrated perfectbound wraps, 68 pp.'Faberg Eggs Imperial Russian Fantasies', introduction and commentaries by by Christopher Forbes, photography by Larry Stein, line art by Lydia Gershey, foreword by Armand Hammer. Elephant Folio, illustrated perfectbound wraps, 68 pp. Near Fine, essentially as new, with microtouches along right edge of front cover. See scans. A visually sumptuous presentation of the famous and very rare Faberg Eggs, those being the bejeweled artworks produced under the supervision of Peter Carl Faberg between 1885 and 1917. 57 of these survive today, though there may have been as many as 69 of which 50 (43 surviving) were made for the Russian Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II as Easter gifts for their wives and mothers. The color photography by Stein and line art by Gershey herein are extraordinarily enchanting, imho. Ships in a stout, protective box, of course not a bag. Leph2
