Las celdas solares basadas en capas de Cu(In1xGax)Se2 han sido objeto de intensivas investigaciones en los ltimas dcadas; por lo general este tipo de celdas incorporan una capa de CdS en su estructura; sin embargo la capa de CdS limita la eficiencia de la celda solar debido a que posee un band gap pequeo, esto ocasiona perdidas en la generacin de fotocorriente por la absorcin de radiacin visible. Diferentes problemas ambientales asociados al CdS, y la posibilidad incrementar la generacin de corriente en la regin UV, han generado gran inters en el desarrollo de capas buffer libres de Cd. El In(O;OH)S ya ha demostrado su potencial uso como capa buffer alternativa y el mtodo Chemical Bath Deposition (CBD); es en la actualidad el mtodo mas utilizado para la fabricacin de capas buffer, debido a su bajo costo de implementacin, las temperaturas de sntesis son bajas, y este permite recubrir con facilidad grandes superficies. En este trabajo se presenta un estudio de la incidencia de la concentracin y tiempo de reaccin sobre las propiedades Fsicas y Qumicas de pelculas de In(O;OH)S sintetizadas por el mtodo CBD.
