Internet banking has played a vital role in the epayment as it provides an online transaction platform to support many ecommerce applications such as online shopping, online auction, and Internet stock trading. In contrast to online purchases, the adoption of Internet banking is typically more complex, as it initiates a longterm relationship between the consumer and online banking services. This study examines various socioeconomic and demographic factors associated with the decision to adopt Internet banking.The Logit and OLS models were formulated to examine the decision to adopt Internet banking. The outcome from the empirical analysis demonstrates individuals income level, computer literate,frequent visit to the bank branches and Internet access were found to be statistically significant.
