El trabajo parte de la concepcin de clase por parte de las familias migrantes analizadas. Asimismo se aludi a aspectos centrales del capital social y cultural relacionado a las expectativas de estos actores. Este hecho tuvo una influencia decisiva en la manera en que los miembros de estas familias vivieron y se desarrollaron en Estados Unidos, como trabajadores especializados o comerciantes. Orientacin que fue transmitida o heredada a sus hijos, misma que les permiti en la segunda generacin obtener logros acadmicos que posteriormente los conducira a desarrollarse y asimilarse a la sociedad norteamericana. La configuracin de estos circuitos familiares se particulariz a travs de su condicin social, enfatizando su situacin migratoria bajo una auto percepcin de legalidad o migrantes documentados. Desde esta perspectiva su posicin de clase contrasta con otros circuitos referidos en la literatura del tema migratorio y la forma en que han dinamizado el flujo del dinero en ambas direcciones. El resultado del trabajo etnogrfico, muestra la dinamizacin de estos circuitos a ambos lados de la frontera bajo patrones cualitativamente diferentes a la migracin campesina en Mxico.
